The proposal for the region aims to improve the user experience through intervention in roads, landscaping, and urban infrastructure, in addition to highlighting local memory through educational programs. The area has already hosted several means of transportation as trams, buses, and cars, which prevailed to the detriment of pedestrians and cyclists. It is necessary to reverse this scenario by reducing the number of roads and pedestrian crossings, encouraging active mobility, and reinforcing this through specific landscaping for each local condition. The creation of two squares with a geometry defined by the treetops stands out like clearings amid dense vegetation. Greenery ensures an environment with less air and noise pollution, where historical buildings stand out and activities are concentrated - supported by urban furniture without compromising its flexibility. Other project premises aim to reduce the carbon footprint, offer a healthier life for residents and visitors, value memory, and emphasize the power of public spaces as a social and civil infrastructure.
